Me & Ed Young Are Like This

It’s not every day you get to share the limelight with someone as well-known as Ed Young. My buddy Fred McKinnon saw this earlier this morning in his Google Reader and shared it on twitpic.
Does it mean anything? Absolutely not.
Is it good for a laugh! Yes!

Sunday Setlist [2.15.09]
1) He Reigns (Newsboys): Key D. Pretty standard, but rocked out version.
2) My Redeemer Lives (Hillsong): Key C. Funky version (soulful) of this song. We slow it down and let the guitar crank out some funky rhythms.
3) We shine (Steve Fee): Key Am/A. This one rocked. I’ve been anticipating this one for months! It went over so well! The team rocked it!
Be sure to check out my new song Your Love Never Fails, that I wrote this week as part of my 50 Songs challenge and the community where I find accountability.
Also, I’ve got a parallel PHOTO WORSHIP CONFESSIONAL of this morning’s worship to give you a visual of the energy at HOJ.
This week was tough. We had a last minute “service” change, which was great but cut into our rehearsal time a little bit. We had a group of about 30 young adults called The Young Americans come in and perform a “Step” routine right after worship. It was cool.
Technically, we ended up with about the same amount of time…but didn’t actually rehearse during the time we could have because the folks that were supposed to come and go over their element didn’t show up til later.
We Shine: YOU HAVE GOT TO investigate this song for your corporate worship. If you do any and I mean any elements of worship that include a little bit of rock edge then I think you can pull this off. This song is SO fun to celebrate with. Our people connected well.
Part of Sunday Setlists! Where a lot of worship leaders and worshipers get crunk!
