You Have The Floor Moon Walker

This is pretty funny. Brian Regan’s been a family favorite for a few years.

Merry Christmas All

I know many of you will be spending time with family these next few days. I will be.

Most of us will probably have more important priorities than blogging (doesn’t mean I won’t check it hehe).

I just wanted to let you know that today and tomorrow I’ll be praying especially for you, my readers!

Prayers for safe travel, for meaningful family time, and for opportunities to bless others.

May God richly bless you with an abundant season of giving and may you be content in knowing that our riches are found in God’s son, Jesus.

In Snowball Fights, Size Does Matter

Take a look at NY Jets DE Shaun Ellis bringing the pain with this giant snowball counter-attack.

Takeaway: Don’t bring a pansy tennis ball sized snowball to a snowball fight with the Jets.

Feedreader Friday [8.08.08]

Feedreader Friday: From around the globe russhutto.com brings you the most fantabulously, fantastic posts from the feedreader. Here’s a handful of the most outrageous, most inspiring, and most informative blog posts the world has seen (well at least this week).

  1. Collide Magazine has a great lists of things to check out this week: Week In Review.
  2. Brent over at inworship has a simple, and almost disturbing, look at the difference between guy and girl showers.
  3. Not necessarily in my feedreader, but I discovered Pandora.com today. I know, I know it’s been around a while, but I’m now officially getting my soulful, RnB, Ray Charles station groove on. Pandora Radio is a pretty cool online radio app, that creates an entire radio station based on songs, albums, bands, authors, or composers you type in.
  4. Ryan over at iamanoffering is doing some great posts on music theory this week. Drop by and learn to build an augmented 7th flat 5 chord from the floor up.
  5. Shaun Groves cracks me up with his sarcastic and witty satirical style of writing. Here’s a post in response to one of Prodigal Jon’s Stuff Christians Like post about acoustic guitar players.
  6. Tam at inprogress keeps the good times rolling with Fill-In-Friday. Get your mass contributor story telling on.
  7. If you have a face, you’ve got to join in on the stupid face tricks shenanigans goin on over at Ragamuffinsoul.com.
  8. Fellow worship leader, Fred McKinnon, started up a great blog carnival called Sunday Setlist. If you’re a worship leader join in and share your sunday set list with us!
  9. Fellow worship leader, Billy Chia, talks about the power of narrative tweets.
  10. Meet a new friend: Jim Drake. We met out in texas a few weeks ago. Stop in and say hey!

A few archived posts of mine to check out and comment on:

  1. QuietTime.tv opens for public beta testing. Come on over and join us for some thoughts, insights, meditations, personal devotions, songs, etc.
  2. Olympics start tonight. We (and a bazillion other churches) capitalized on the imagery. Here’s a design concept for a series we’re starting Sunday.
  3. Last Saturday night I broadcasted a live show from a local joint here in town called Buffington’s. I played some worship tunes and just had a good time doing what I do. Check out the archived stream with bonus footage of the next artist on the lineup, J.T. Cheek.
  4. Working on a song. Join in on shaping and crafting the lyrics over at the Worship Community.
