New Song: We Will Shout It (From Isaiah 40)

So here’s contribution number 2 this month for the Songwriting Assignment over at The Worship Community.

It’s out of the same passage (Isaiah 40). It’s neat how you can meditate on a passage for almost a month and then write 2 totally different songs, almost based on the same ideas. Nice.

This song is basically about singing LOUD that God is coming back.

Kind of a “prepare the way” kind of a song.

I kind of went back to some of my old Blind Men See rock roots for a little of this. I can also hear some Lincoln Brewster and Hillsong influence in there as well.
