Thanks, Mandy!
We had great success with the original. For some reason all the girls used to request it more than any of our other songs. I guess the pop-ishness of it (more so than the heavier rock of most of our other songs) pushed it to the top.

Hi!
I told ya I'd be here. Your comment today reminded me. :)
This was neat. Very interesting to hear two different versions of the same song. And I like both of them. I don't which I like more, actually... hmm... They both play to strengths in their own styles. NICE!
thanks for sharing. Keep it up, Russ!!

definetely cooler in the remix version

It almost had a "southtown" feel between the vocals and the disonant guitar tones

@David: Yeah, it just seems to flow pretty nice right there at 80 bpm.

Way to slow it down Russ :) Love the lyrics too.

And, having experimented with tempo changing stuff that's already done, I think you got a sweetspot in that new tempo without it losing too much audio quality.

:)

Honestly, one of the best compliments I get from people is "I don't normally listen to rap or hip hop, but I love your stuff!"

Means, either I'm decent, or everyone is just really nice.

HAHA!
