Great day today. This was the second week we ran our overflow (LiveWired) room. This week however, we added the HD cam and were able to continue tweaking the sound. We had a a good size crowd in the LiveWired room. We’ve asked some of our regular attenders to make room for guests by participating in the service from the LW room. They’re stepping up! We’ve basically opened up about 100 more seats for our 11 a.m. service. When we start filling that we’ll also open the LW room for the 9:30 service. Right now, though we’re using 9:30 to get everything set just right for the 11.
Kind of got in a bind with our presentation folks this Sunday. I have one AWESOME volunteer who runs it great and is very dependable, but I need more.My dependable one was out of town and didn’t take care of getting someone to back up, so at the last minute we had to plug someone in to fill that gap. Not best case scenario in any situation. We do have someone who’s coming to train who seems to really want to plug in so that’s good. We have a few folks who can run it, but don’t want to commit to both services. My thoughts are that it would be best to be there from start to finish because of the synergy with the band through rehearsal and just basically knowing what’s going on. Someone who just shows up right before the second service really has no clue.
Other than that, it went great!
We do depend on our tech people don’t we! I sure hope you get more volunteers soon, sound like you’re growing like crazy!

@Lori: Indeed we do! I think we’ll be fine. It’s just frustrating in the moment sometimes.
