* Posted so late because of flooding knocking out our cable internet all over town.

This Sunday I played drums. I get to do that every 6 months or so and really enjoy when I get to do that.

1) Cover the Earth (Lakewood): Key D. Arrangement very similar to recorded version.
2) Jesus is the Best Thing (Munizzi): Key D. This is always a fun one, especially on drums.
3) Everlasting God (Lincoln Brewster Version): Key A. Same as recorded version.
4) Say So (Houghton): Key E. Love this song.

Sunday we baptized 15 people. And we dedicated about the same amount of children and parents. We always do it up big on those sundays and split up the music throughout the baptisms.

Great day! I thank God for the commitments and life change we are seeing in people’s lives through House of Joy!

Dude,
I’m up in G’Ville, about to head home … heard about the flooding, that’s terrible – are you affected? The church? Is it receding yet?

Thanks guys for stopping by.

The flooding hasn’t affected me personally, or the church facilities.

It has however affected traffic in town. Some of our lower lying roads that run through town were under water. The local YMCA was under water. A few suburbs were under water.

Our office admin’s apartment complex was under water, but fortunately she lives on the second floor so none of the water reached her place.

Other than that, it’s been a boring few days as internet and cable have been down in most parts of town. It’s coming back in some places, but at my place it’s still down.
