Words of Wisdom from Dad
On “forcing” religion on your kids and allowing them to “find out for themselves” my dad says…
“Looking back I’m glad we didn’t let our 4 children find out for themselves that playing on the interstate was not conducive to a long and healthy life.”
I’m glad too. :)

Ha! Comes down to living a life worthy of your Father doesn’t it. What is good for our children will just flow out of us in every area. It’s not forced, it’s family as God intended.
Indeed it does David.
My parents didn’t give us a choice on religion. It was standard in our home. We all went to sure, all went through a period of “I don’t want to go to church” in our teens, but we didn’t have a choice.
Today – all three of us “kids” are serving in the church. All three of us have played our instruments on worship teams and all three of us are still living for the Father. It is the only way to go!!!
Definitely Erika. I’m one of those church kids too. My parents PARENTED us, they didn’t cater to our whims.
Edit – We all went to CHURCH! HAHA
I think I like your Dad!
He’s a great dad! And a great guy! And a great pastor! Miss ministering with him (he’s at a church 5 hours away).
