Simpl3 Theme

In my quest, to simplify how I do things this year, I redesigned my blog at the beginning of the year. I actually built the theme from scratch. The guts weren’t pretty, but it looked and worked fairly good to me. After about a month I decided I wanted to have a cleaner white theme. Enter Simpl3 by Human 3rror. He released this theme just as I began searching for a new theme. (Thanks, John!)

So, if you’re looking for a clean theme check out Simpl3. If you’re a little knowledgeable about themes and css you can tweak it a bit and give it your own fresh look.

I also implemented the Disqus comment system which a lot of my blog buds have been using with great success.

About Russ Hutto: I live and work in the beautiful Golden Isles region of Southeast Georgia along with my beautiful wife Lydia. You can find me designing in print for WYIM Publications during the week. I'm the Editor of The Worship Community. On the weekends, I'm usually volunteering in the Worship Ministry at St. Simons Community Church or traveling to help smaller churches with Worship Ministry Development. I also help mentor and coach student musicians and singers for our middle and high school ministries. Lastly, I'm an avid CrossFitter (CrossFit Brunswick) and love all things fitness and nutrition.

Good to see this theme in action, Russ – I liked John's template when he put it up last week…

It's not 100% what I'm looking for personally…might have to get John on to it for my transfer from Blogger to WordPress…coming soon…hopefully.

Definitely it was the first 125 x 125 that I had waiting in the wings for the “ads” section.

Great look, I need help on my site. Is there anyway you can help me work that whole css codes, etc. I know a bit but not enough to change my page completely.

Sure, I'm not sure how customizable blogspot is though. Do you know what options are available for customization?
