We’re Parents!! Sort of…

We adopted a puppy Saturday and I brought her home today.

Blog friends, meet Sophie, our little bundle of puppy joy.

She’s an American Bulldog/Lab mix. She’s a little groggy (above). This is on the car ride home from the vet (she was spayed this morning).

Here she is sleeping off her meds. The vet said she’d be a little tender the next few days.

This is my wife’s and my first pet together here in Valdosta. We’re excited about the responsibility and of course the fun!

@Tam: yes and no. Yes, until bedtime. Then she whined and yelped and such at odd ours of the night…I can’t imagine what it’s like to be a mom with an infant.

Super fun – adorable dog!

We have two cats that used to be our babies – until our real baby came along – now the cats wonder why they’re neglected – ha! Sometimes it’s annoying, sometimes it’s downright funny. We still love them – and our daughter absolutely adores them (they don’t adore her too much, yet.)
